Having done remodels in the past I have had my share of bad experience so I knew I wanted a company that would work with me from start to finish. I interviewed all full service remodel companies in San Diego before I made the choice that Lars was right for my kitchen and family room remodel. That being said, after meeting Mike Hebert, I felt a connection and authenticity that he was not only interested in selling me on using Lars, but he was interested in my project and their would be customer service from beginning to end. Mike was just a GIANT step above anyone I had met from all the other companies - Personable, knowledgeable, detail oriented and extremely professional. He noticed a hollow tile that would have to be protected during construction and he noted what I could and couldn't do because I wasn't removing my tile and didn't have replacement tile. My team also consisted of Yvette Travers, my designer and Larry Gallant, my project manager. Yvette has style! She had ideas, but maybe more importantly she listened to my ideas - she wanted my vision to come to life. As a result, her suggestions were always in line with mine. Larry, kept my project moving along, never got flustered and cared that my experience with the remodel was positive. The great thing is Mike, Yvette and Larry were on MY TEAM! They were my DREAM TEAM! I don't want this to sound unrealistic - were there some hiccups, yes. But amazingly - Lars was behind me all the way and always solution oriented. I've done remodeling before and NEVER have I had a positive experience with hiccups the way I did with Lars and every remodel I have been involved in has had some hiccups. The promise they made up front held true - they were with me from beginning to end, they stayed on the timeline and budget! My kitchen and family room are gorgeous - exactly what I wanted and more.
